Daft punky trash

France’s electronic pop duo Daft Punk, whose single ‘Get Lucky’ has got to be the catchiest song released so far this year, got their name when a reviewer dismissed their early efforts as “daft punky trash”. At the time they called themselves Darlin’ and had a third member in the form of Laurent Brancowitz, who now plays guitar for Phoenix.
