New Zealand plans to tax farmers for their livestock’s belching and flatulence. If the draft law is passed, it will be the first country in the world to tax farmers for methane emissions. New Zealand’s population is five million but it has about 10 million cattle and 26 million sheep – that’s a lot of gas.
