Filet-o-Fish – Just so you know!

The fish burger at McDonald’s was “invented” in 1962 by a franchise owner whose store was located in a predominantly Catholic neighbourhood of Cincinnati where devout Catholics adhered to the tradition of not eatin g red meat on Fridays. This was bad for business so he replaced red meat with fish and voila, the Filet-o-Fish sandwich was born.
