The Sport of Being Naked

In Germany, getting naked is a sport. In 1933, the Nazis banned the German Nudist Association for being “un-German and lewd”, as well as a breeding ground for communists. But Germans like taking their clothes off so much that they pulled a few strings and got naturism recognised as part of the German Olympic Sports Federation, which continues to administer the German Nudist Association today.
