Who Spends More on Charity than Apple makes in revenue?

No one knows exactly how much the Catholic Church spends on charity each year but an investigation by the Economist last year offered an estimate of $170 billion in annual spending, of which almost $150 billion is associated with church-affiliated hospitals and institutions of higher education. To compare, Apple boasted a revenue of about $150 billion worldwide in Fiscal Year 2012.
